WATCH OUT FOR ½ CONVERSIONS

A number of what we call ½ conversions are being offered at what seems like a cheap price
This lower price is partly achieved by not lowering the floor completely as on Freewheeler units and not replacing the factory fuel tank as we do with our 60 litre stainless steel tank. This is just one of the corners that are cut

As a result, the floor slopes steeply over the fuel tank and the wheelchair passenger is tilted at an uncomfortable angle. One client lamented she had to put the handbrake on her child's manual wheelchair to stop it rolling out of the car while loading

Freewheeler MAXI units also have 1500mm headroom, full sized spare wheel and finger-tip-light ONE-PIECE ramp a child can operate and the best rear seats on offer.
